YUTELNEWS.com | Menteri Pertahanan RI Prabowo Subianto mengunjungi posko tanggap bencana erupsi Gunung Merapi di Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat, Sabtu (9/12/2023). Erupsi Gunung Marapi terjadi sekitar pukul 14.53 WIB, Minggu, 3 Desember 2023.
Sesampainya di posko, Menhan Prabowo langsung meninjau tenda pengungsi untuk bertemu, serta berkomunikasi secara langsung dengan warga yang menjadi korban terdampak erupsi Gunung Marapi. Menhan dalam kesempatan ini menyampaikan berbelasungkawa kepada para keluarga korban, serta memberikan santunan kepada ahli waris korban erupsi Gunung Merapi.
Selanjutnya, Menhan Prabowo melihat kondisi dapur umum dan Posko Pelayanan Kesehatan. Menhan ingin memastikan bahwa warga yang mengungsi tertangani dengan baik, dan terpenuhi kebutuhan yang berkaitan dengan konsumsi, ketersediaan air bersih, fasilitas kesehatan, seperti obat-obatan dan tenaga kesehatan. Selain itu, keamanan relokasi pengungsian khususnya untuk anak-anak dan orang tua yang lanjut usia. Upaya ini merupakan bukti kecintaan dan kepedulian Menhan pada masyarakat Sumatera Barat.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Menhan Prabowo menyampaikan rasa terima kasih dan penghargaan kepada semua pihak baik instansi, Pemerintah Daerah, TNI, Polri dan Relawan, atas kerja sama yang erat dan kerja keras dalam membantu mengatasi bencana ini.
“Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih atas nama pemerintah kepada semua petugas, semua pihak yang telah bekerja keras membantu menyelamatkan para korban, membawa jenazah dan yang masih terluka,” kata Menhan.
“Dengan kerja keras saudara-saudara dan rasa tanggung jawab semua pihak kita bisa mengatasi semua kesulitan,” sambungnya.
Tidak hanya meninjau, Menhan Prabowo juga menyerahkan bantuan 35 unit sepeda motor untuk prajurit TNI dan Polri.
