Johan Elvianus Hondro lahir di Bumi Lancang Kuning, Kota Pekanbaru, 11 Juni 1992.
Ia mengaku terpanggil untuk ambil bagian dalam mengawasi dan mengawal jalannya pemerintahan agar terwujudnya keadilan dan pemerataan sosial.
“Saya melihat masih adanya kesenjangan sosial, dan saya rasa bukan lagi saatnya ‘yang kaya semakin kaya, yang miskin semakin merana’, inilah waktu terwujudnya keadilan sosial bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia”ujarnya, Senin (27/11/23).
Berbekal pengalamannya di bidang jurnalistik, membuat langkahnya semakin mantap berbuat nyata dan lebih baik lagi untuk masyarakat kota Pekanbaru.
Pasalnya, menurut Johan masih banyak warga di kota kelahirannya yang hidup susah atau di bawah garis kemiskinan. Dia ingin ambil bagian di lembaga wakil rakyat agar bisa ikut mengawasi jalannya pemerintahan dan penganggaran agar bisa tepat sasaran.
“Saya ingin ambil bagian dalam pengawasan jalannya pemerintahan, agar uang masyarakat benar-benar bisa digunakan untuk kemakmuran warga,” ujarnya.
Ia mengatakan 5 alasan berlabuh dan memilih Partai Golkar sebagai kendaraan untuk maju sebagai Caleg DPRD Kota Pekanbaru karena ;
1. Partai paling berpengalaman membangun bangsa,
2. Bersikap terbuka, tidak membeda-bedakan latar belakang agama dan etnis seseorang,
3. Banyak Program Kekaryaan yang melibatkan masyarakat luas secara langsung,
4. Modernisasi dan toleransi yang tinggi,
5. dan juga partai yang selalu mengikuti perkembangan zaman.
Johan juga mengaku satu visi dengan Partai Golkar yang berlaku terbuka kepada semua elemen masyarakat.
Ia juga memaparkan 5 Program yang akan diperjuangkan jika nantinya diberi kepercayaan oleh masyarakat kota Pekanbaru khususnya kecamatan senapelan dan kecamatan payung sekaki :
1. Penguatan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga
2. Penguatan Pendidikan
3. Insentif Petugas Keagamaan
4. Infrastruktur dan Lingkungan
5. Pemerataan kesejahteraan/keadilan sosial.
5 program fokusnya dalam berjuang merebut hati rakyat kota pekanbaru khususnya di daerah kecamatan payung sekaki dan kecamatan senapelan bukan tanpa musabab, Ia menilai sampai saat ini masalah keadilan dan pemerataan masih menjadi masalah yang serius.
Ia meyakini dalam mempraktekkan keadilan sosial butuh pemerataan kesejahteraan bagi seluruh warga negara Indonesia khususnya di kota Pekanbaru.
