Disamping itu juga, kegiatan sidang ini adalah kegiatan melatih kemampuan publik speaking setial siswa, krn nantinya diharapkan seorang siswa SMKN 1 Penanggalan mampu menjadi entrepreneur yang handal dengan kemampuan publik speaking yang baik serta percaya diri yang tinggi.
“Kegiatan PKL yang telah dilakukan bertujuan mengenalkan siswa kepada dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya dengan segala peluang dan tantangannya , siswa diharapkan mampu meningkatkan potensi diri dan skill yang baik, karena semua lulusan SMKN 1 Penanggalan di prioritaskan mampu bekerja pada dunia usaha yang relevan dan bisa membuka lapangan kerja.
Dengan kegiatan PKL selama 6 bulan ini, diharapkan siswa mampu memahami dan memposisikan diri baik sebagai karyawan/pekerja maupun sebagai pelaku usaha yang penting siswa harus tekun dan serius serta optimis pasti bisa.
Sehingga setelah tamat dari SMKN 1 Penanggalan kelak mereka akan siap hidup di masyarakat dengan skill yang bisa diandalkan, “sidang kali ini diikuti serentak oleh seluruh peserta didik pada kelas XII semua kompetensi keahlian dengan ketentuan sudah mendapatkan sertifikat yang sudah ditandatangani pembimbing Lapangan dan pimpinan perusahaan dari tempat PKL masing-masing serta sudah menyelesaikan laporan kegiatan hasil praktek kerja lapangan tersebut.
Inilah indahnya bersekolah di SMKN 1 Penanggalan, kegiatan sangat variatif setelah PKL pada semester 6 nanti semua siswa pada kelas XII. akan mengikuti kegiatan Uji Kompetensi Keahlian(UKK), dengan assesor langsung dari industri yang relevan dan kompeten dibidangnya.
