Truk Terguling, 5 Orang Dilaporkan Meninggal Dunia di Saguling Kabupaten Bandung Barat

YUTELNEWS.com-Sebuah truk engkel mengalami kecelakaan tunggal di Jalan Saguling, tepatnya di Kampung Leuwibudah RT 03/08, Desa Saguling, Kecamatan Saguling, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jumat (26/1) sekitar pukul 00.30 Wib.

Dalam kejadian tersebut dilaporkan 5 orang meninggal dunia, dan 15 korban lainya mengalami luka-luka, seluruhnya dibawa ke RSHS Kota Bandung.

Camat Cipongkor, Rega Wiguna menjelaskan, data sementara yang diterimanya ada 5 orang meninggal dunia. Saat ini akan dilakukan salat jenazah 4 orang korban meninggal di Masjid Jame Ciselang, Ksmpung Cinagrong, Desa Citalem.

“Kejadiannya Jumat dini hari, seluruh penumpang truk engkel berasal dari Desa Citalem, Kecamatan Cipongkor. Mereka baru pulang menghadiri acara haol di Cianjur,” kata Rega saat dihubungi Jumat pagi.

Ia menyebut, diperkirakan truk engkel truk berpelat polisi D 8304 WY bermuatan sekitar 21-22 penumpang. Selain menggunakan truk beberapa warga ada yang naik kendaraan pribadi.

“Truk tidak masuk jurang seperti informasi yang berkembang di masyarakat, yang benar terguling pas di jalan menurun. Apakah karena rem blong atau karena sopir tak bisa mengendalikan laju kendaraannya sehingga terguling,” ucapnya.

Diduga penumpang truk engkel terlempar saat truk terbalik. Ada korban yang terjepit badan truk.

“Untuk penyebab kecelakaannya bisa ditanyakan ke polisi,” ucapnya.

Sebelum korban dibawa ke RSHS, sempat dibawa ke RSUD Cililin dan RS Cahya Kawaluyan, Kota Baru Parahyangan, Kecamatan Padalarang. Namun karena banyak yang mengalami luka berat akhirnya dirujuk ke RSHS.
