YUTELNEWS.com | Tragis, seorang siswa SMU 2 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya meninggal dunia akibat tergilas truk. Kecelakaan terjadi pada saat korban pulang sekolah menggunakan sepeda motor, namun sepeda motornya terjatuh ke arah sebelah kanan bahu jalan, karena jarak yang sangat dekat Mobil Truk yang berada di belakang korban tidak dapat menghindar dan melindas tubuh korban.
Peristiwa itu terjadi di depan Mulia Graha Jalan Arteri Supadio Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Selasa (9/1/24) Pukul 14.45 Wib.
Kapolres Kubu Raya AKBP Wahyu Jati Wibowo, S.I.K, S.H., M.H, saat dikonfirmasi melalui Kasubsi Penmas Polres Kubu Raya AIPTU Ade membenarkan peristiwa tersebut, korban merupakan siswa SMU 2 Sungai Raya bernama Farel (16) warga Kabupaten Kubu Raya.
“Menurut keterangan saksi yang dihimpun oleh petugas Satlantas Polres Kubu Raya, korban yang mengendarai sepeda motornya Nopol : KB 4984 QT dari arah Pontianak menuju ke arah Supadio melalui jalur sebelah kiri tergelincir sehingga korban terjatuh ke bahu kanan jalan,” jelas Ade.
“Kemudian, karena jarak yang sangat dekat Mobil truk Nopol : KB 8351 JA yang dikemudikan Hendrianus yang saat itu berada di jalur kanan tak dapat menghindar dan melindas tubuh korban,”kata Ade.
Ade, pun menjelaskan saat ini korban sudah berada di rumah duka guna prosesi pemakaman.
Petaka itu berawal saat Farel hendak pulang kerumah, saat itu cuaca dalam keadaan hujan, dimungkinkan Farel tergelincir akibat jalan yang licin.
“Kami dari Polres Kubu Raya tak henti-hentinya menghimbau kepada seluruh pengguna jalan untuk lebih berhati-hati, agar kejadian serupa tidak terulang kembali dan kami dari Polres Kubu Raya turut berduka cita Semoga keluarga yang ditinggalkan diberi ketabahan dan kesabaran,” tutup Ade.
