Kapolda Sumut Irjen Agung Setya melalui Kabid Humas Kombes Hadi Wahyudi mengatakan razia yang dilakukan Polda Sumut adalah salah satu langkah untuk menciptakan Ruang Publik aman dan nyaman serta bersih dari Narkoba.
“Ada lebih dari 70 personil yang kita libatkan bersama TNI dan BNNP untuk menyusuri ruang-ruang publik guna mewujudkan aman nyaman dan bersih dari Narkoba,” kata Hadi.
Dalam razia itu Tim yang dipimpin Dirnarkoba Polda Sumut Kombes Jemy Mandagi bersama POM TNI dan BNNP bergerak menuju sasaran yaitu Pub Shoot di Jalan Patimura Medan.
Dari CD Pub Shoot, tim mendapatkan sekitar 70 orang pengunjung yang kemudian dilakukan test urine dan ditemukan positif 2 orang.
Kemudian Tim bergerak menuju Karaoke X-Tend di Jalan Kapten Muslim, Komplek Mega Park, Medan dan mendapati pengunjung sekitar 60 orang serta dilakukan test urine 53 orang dengan hasil positif Narkoba 12 orang dua diantaranya bartender dan cleaning service.
