Rapat Dengar pendapat ini, di pimpin langsung oleh Ketua Komisi I Ya’aman Telaumbanua didampingin oleh unsur Ketua DPR Nias Utara ( Sukanto Waruwu SE, dan Noferman Zega), Komisi III dan anggota DPRD Nias Utara lainnya.
Ketua komisi I Ya’aman Telaumbanua pada awal pembukaan rapat bahwa adapun tujuan rapat dengar pendapat hari ini, adalah “berdasarkan surat laporan beberapa masyarakat dari Desa Hilimbosi Kecamatan Sitoluori, dimana dalam surat masyarakat itu, beberapa point’ yang perlu kita tindaklanjuti, sehingga pada hari ini, Komisi I DPRD Nias Utara mengadakan rapat dengar pendapat,” Jelasnya.
Ketua DPRD Nias Utara, Sukanto Waruwu SE, pada kata sambutannya menyampaikan kekesalannya, “dimana salah satu pihak yakni Perwakilan dari PT. KSS yang tidak menghargai undangan rapat dengar pendapat dengan lembaga DPRD Nias Utara, walaupun sudah disampaikan surat undangan agar menghadiri rapat yang kita laksanakan pada hari ini,”Kesalnya.
“Semoga hal ini, menjadi perhatian kita bersama, karena salah satu pihak ( PT. KSS), yang seyogianya wajib hadir pada rapat ini, namun tidak menghargai rapat yang kita laksanakan ini”, tuturnya.
Hal yang sama juga di sampaikan oleh Anggota DPRD Nias Utara, Hizikia Harefa, menyampaikan bahwa “kami anggota DPRD ini, adalah wakil rakyat. Jadi kami wajib hadir menampung, menyalurkan dan membela kepentingan masyarakat Nias Utara,” Ucapnya.
