Kapolres Sukabumi Akbp Maruly Pardede melalui Kasi Humas Polres Sukabumi Iptu Aah Saepul Rohman mengatakan, akibat dari kejadian kecelakaan tunggal itu pengemudi kendaraan atas P (60) dan penumpang nya S (52) meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian.
“Dugaan sementara, sang pengendara kehilangan konsentrasi pada saat melintasi jalan lurus sehingga tidak bisa menguasai kendaraannya, ” Jelas Aah dalam rilisnya pagi ini.
Menurut Aah, besar kemungkinan kedua korban meninggal dunia cedera akibat benturan keras kendaraanya pada saat menabrak beton.
“Kedua korban sudah dievakuasi oleh anggota unit Gakkum Satlantas Polres Sukabumi ke rumah sakit,” Jelasnya lagi.
Pada kesempatan yang sama Aah menghimbau kepada para pengendara, ketika berkendara harus dipastikan kondisi badan dalam keadaan fit dan sehat, agar konsentrasi pada saat mengemudi tetap terjaga dan selalu berhati-hati.
” Kalau sudah lelah atau mengantuk ketika membawa kendaraan, upayakan beristirahat dengan menepikan kendaraan ditempat yang aman atau pada tempat disediakan untuk berhenti dan istirahat, ” Tutup Aah.
