YUTELNEWS.com | Kepala Badan Narkotika Nasional Republik Indonesia (BNN RI) Irjen. Pol. Marthinus Hukom, S.I.K, M.Si., membuka acara Monitoring dan Evaluasi (Monev) Ketahanan Keluarga Anti Narkoba Berbasis Sumber Daya Pembangunan Desa (SDPD) pada Senin (18/12) di Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta Pusat.
Kegiatan dari Deputi Bidang Pencegahan ini dihadiri Deputi Bidang Pencegahan BNN RI Irjen. Pol. Dr. Drs. Richard M. Nainggolan, SH, MM, MBA, Inspektorat Utama BNN Irjen. Pol. Drs. Wahyono, M.H.,CfrA, CGCAE , dan perwakilan dari BNNP se-Indonesia dengan total peserta sebanyak 80 orang.
BNN RI dalam menjalankan tugasnya dihadapkan pada tantangan yang kompleks. Karena itu tantangan ini menjadi fokus utama Bidang Pencegahan guna menciptakan program pencegahan yang efektif dan inovatif, agar dapat menekan angka penyalahguna Narkoba di Indonesia.
Adaun tujuan terselengaranya Monitoring dan Evaluasi Ketahanan Keluarga Anti Narkoba Berbasis Sumber Daya Pembangunan Desa ini yaitu untuk melihat sejauh mana efektivitas dan implementasi program Bidang Pencegahan yang dilaksanakan oleh BNNP dan BNNK di tahun 2023. Ini juga menjadi acuan untuk mempersiapkan kegiatan di tahun 2024.
Dalam sambutanya Kepala BNN RI Irjen. Pol. Marthinus Hukom, S.I.K, M.Si., menyampaikan berdasarkan hasil survei nasional penyalahguna Narkoba tahun 2023, angka prevalensi penyalahguna Narkoba sebesar 1,73% atau setara dengan 3,3 Juta jiwa penduduk yang berumur 15-64 tahun. Ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi BNN RI untuk menekan angka prevalensi agar tidak meningkat pada tahun-tahun berikutnya.
“Hal ini menjadi tugas kita bersama khususnya dibidang pencegahan karena pencegahan adalah garda terdepan dalam menyelamatkan generasi muda dari ancaman penyalagunaan narkoba. Program-program pencegahan perlu dirancang, disusun, dan dilaksanakan secara efektif dan efisien baik tingkat pusat maupun di tingkat provinsi, kabupaten dan kota. Dengan mengedepankan tindakan pencehagan agar memberi ketahanan untuk setiap individu dari serangan narkoba,”ujar Kepala BNN RI.
