Kebakaran terjadi pas disaat jelang datangnya malam tahun baru 2024,kebakaran terjadi pada pukul.11.50 wib pada malam hari,pemilik rumah Ustadz Yahzul warga Rt.03 rw.07 dusun glatik desa glagahsari kecamatan Sukorejo Kabupaten Pasuruan
Pantauan CBN api telah berhasil dipadamkan oleh unit pemadam kebakaran, unit mobil pemadam diterjunkan ke lokasi untuk memadamkan api.
Ustadz Yahzul pemilik rumah menuturkan dirinya tidak tahu persis awal mula kebakaran terjadi. Dia baru mengetahui api muncul setelah saudara dan tetangganya memberi tahu ada asap muncul dari atas dan dalam rumah.
“Kebakaran rumah awalnya saya sendiri tidak tahu karena saya tidak ada dirumah, Habis gitu saudara dan tetangga yang rumahnya di sebelah nyusul, ngasih tau ada asap dan saya lari ke rumah pas buka pintu di didalam sudah ngepul penuh (asap),” kata ustadz Yahzul
Ustadz Yahzul menduga, kebakaran dipicu adanya korsleting listrik.
Kemungkinan lupa lampu itu tidak dimatiin, kemungkinan korsleting listrik,” ujarnya.
Akibat kebakaran itu, Ustadz Yahzul diperkirakan merugi hingga ratusan juta. rumah ludes terbakar. Selain itu, uang tabungan yang tersimpan juga tidak sempat diselamatkan.
Sementara itu, Kapolsek Sukorejo menuturkan, saat ini pihaknya masih menyelidiki penyebab pasti kebakaran. “Ini masih dalam penyelidikan kita belum bisa menentukan penyebab pastinya,” ungkapnya
Dia menyebut api melahap habis rumah dan seisinya. Saat ini kata dia, api berhasil dipadamkan dan sedang dalam tahap pendinginan. Menurutnya pemadaman sempat terkendala akses jalan yang sempit.
“Pemadaman terkendala kondisi jalan yang sempit sehingga menghambat proses pemadaman, karena daerah sini padat penduduk,” pungkasnya.
