Tanggulangi Banjir, DLH Rohil Kerahkan Sedikitnya 50 Petugas Kebersihan dan 2 Unit Excavator

YUTELNews.com | Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Rokan Hilir (Rohil) melalui Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) mengerahkan sedikitnya 50 orang petugas kebersihan Kecamatan Bangko yang tergabung dalam satgas banjir dan 2 unit excavator untuk membersihkan drainase serta parit navigasi pembuangan air menuju sungai Rokan sebagai upaya penanggulangan banjir di kota Bagansiapiapi sekitanya yang merupakan ibu kota Kabupaten Rokan Hilir.

Demikian dikatakan kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Suwandi,D.Sos saat ditemui media di lokasi pembersihan saluran pembuangan air di jembatan Suhub Jalan Kecamatan Kelurahan Bagan Punak Kecamatan Bangko, Rohil Rabu (1/11/2023).

“Untuk mempercepat debit air menuju saluran pembuangan ke sungai Rokan, DLH Rohil mengerahkan sekitar 50 sampai 80 orang petugas kebersihan untuk melakukan pembersihan sampah dan pengerukan lumpur secara manual pada drainase maupun parit pembuangan dan kolong jembatan yang tersumbat maupun yang mengalami kedangkalan akibat lumpur, ” kata Suwandi.

Lanjutnya, selain dikerjakan secara manual , kami juga mengerahkan 2 alat berat excavator untuk menaikan lumpur maupun sampah yang menghalangi jalan air ke arah saluran pembuangan menuju sungai Rokan. Ada saluran air atau parit yang lebar dan dalam dan tidak terjangkau dikerjakan secara manual oleh anggota, jadi kita pakai excavator agar penanggulangan banjir ini dapat secepatnya teratasi, ” terangnya.

Dikatakan Suwandi, dalam 4 hari penanggulangan banjir , pihaknya fokus pada pembersihan saluran air diantaranya pembersihan dan pengerukan sungai tolan, dari parit atmo menuju ke kampung pasir, kemudian parit perumahan Pemda dan Kejaksaan menuju saluran pembuangan Depan Kantor Dinas Pariwisata.

Selain itu personil DLH juga fokus membersih drainase sekaligus normalisasi beberapa titik pembuangan air, seperti di sungai pabrik, jembatan suhub kemudian karanganyar.

“Kami berupaya untuk mengatasi banjir ini, sebagaimana yang disampaikan oleh pak bupati kemarin bahwa kecamatan Bangko sudah ditetapkan sebagai daerah siaga banjir, oleh karena itu kami akan terus berupaya sekuat mungkin mengarahkan sumber daya manusia yang ada, agar dampak banjir di wilayah pemukiman masyarakat Kecamatan Bangko ini bisa kita tanggunglangi secepatnya,” ungkap Suwandi.

“Sebagai mana himbauan Pak Bupati dalam kegiatan apel siaga kemarin, kalau sudah di tetapkan sebagai darut banjir, artinya kita harus kerja bersama, kita sebagai pembantu Pak Bupati bertugas sesuai tupoksi dan kami di bantu berapa perangkat OPD lainnya.”

Disamping itu, Suwandi juga berharap kepada masyarakat untuk ikut berperan aktif dalam penanggulangan banjir ini, karena ini merupakan musibah dan harus diatasi bersama bersama, jangan semuanya dilimpahkan kepada pemerintah daerah. Bagaimanapun masyarakat harus ikut terlibat dalam penanggulangan banjir ini, tentu upaya yang dilakukan masyarakat dengan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan agar tidak membuang sampah sembarangan.

“Kita bisa melihat di bawah jembatan Karanganyar bertumpuk sampah di sana. Kalau sudah banyak sampah otomatis menghalangi aliran air sehingga ujung-ujungnya banjir di wilayah ini. Jadi kami mohon doa juga dari masyarakat khususnya di Kecamatan Bangko, mudah-mudahan cuaca bisa bersahabat sehingga genangan air di pemukiman masyarakat menjadi surut, ” pintanya.
