Dalam video tersebut dinyatakan bahwa Kapolri memerintahkan Dirbinmas Polda jajaran tanpa surat telegram rahasia (STR) dan hanya melalui telepon ke para Kapolda.
Kapolri disebut memerintahkan untuk mengerahkan fungsi binmas Polri sebagai instrumen pemenangan pemilu. Lalu meminta bantuan dana dari para pengusaha BUJP (Badan Usaha Jasa Pengamanan) yang merupakan kolega Direktorat Binmas wilayah masing-masing.
Kepala Divisi Humas Polri Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho menyatakan bahwa informasi yang beredar adalah menyesatkan atau hoax.
“Bahwa terkait informasi tersebut tidak benar atau hoax dan sejak minggu yang lalu di media sosial juga Polri sudah berikan keterangan tertanda Hoax,” kata Sandi dalam keterangan tertulisnya,
Sandi menuturkan, masyarakat diminta tidak memercayai informasi yang beredar di media sosial tanpa mengecek terlebih dahulu.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Sandi menegaskan, Polri akan tetap netral menjaga pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024 berjalan aman, damai dan bermartabat.
