Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman RI Provinsi Kepri itu mengajak mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan turut andil dalam memperbaiki pelayanan publik.
“Mendapatkan pelayanan yang baik adalah hak konstitusi kita. Mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan harus berpartisipasi memperbaikinya dengan cara melaporkan penyimpangan yang terjadi. Melapor bukan berarti mencari masalah tapi berarti ada masalah yang harus diperbaiki,” tutur Lagat.
Berdasarkan data Kementerian Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi, hanya sekitar 6.000an generasi Z melapor menggunakan aplikasi Lapor.go.id.
Di era digital saat ini, tidak dapat dipungkiri masyarakat cenderung memilih untuk memviralkan penyimpangan pelayanan publik di media sosial yang belum tentu ditindaklanjuti.
Dengan adanya data itu, ia meminta mahasiswa menyampaikan persoalan pelayanan publik pada saluran yang benar yaitu Lapor.go.id.
“Jangan melapor di media sosial. Belum tentu ditindaklanjuti bahkan bisa menyakiti diri sendiri. Lapor pada saluran Lapor.go.id yang sudah disediakan sebagai tempat menyampaikan aspirasi terkait pelayanan publik. Sampaikan disana agar nanti bisa jadi dasar memperbaiki pelayanan publik,” ujar Lagat.
Ia menyampaikan Ombudsman RI sebagai sebagai salah satu dari lima lembaga yang menggawangi SP4N Lapor selalu melakukan pemantauan pada laporan yang disampaikan masyarakat.
“Jangan khawatir, laporan anda di SP4N Lapor itu selalu kami pantau, setiap hari, minggu, bulan dan tahun sejak 2019. Kami selalu lakukan pengawasan terhadap entitas yang menerima laporan di SP4N Lapor. Kami akan pastikan mereka merespon. Jika lebih dari 60 hari tidak ada respon, maka kami tindaklanjut,” tutup Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman RI Provinsi Kepri, Dr Lagat Siadari.
