Penetapan tersebut tertuang dalam Keputusan Presiden Nomor 115-TK-TH-2023 tertanggal 6 November 2023 tentang Penganugerahan Gelar Pahlawan Nasional yang dibacakan oleh Sekretaris Militer Presiden Laksamana Muda TNI Hersan. Anugerah pun diserahkan langsung oleh Presiden Joko Widodo pada Pj Bupati Jepara Edy Supriyanta di Istana Negara, Jakarta, pada Jumat (10/11/2023).
Pj Bupati didampingi Kepala Dinsospermasdes Kabupaten Jepara Edy Marwoto dan Wakil Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Jepara Pratikno menceritakan bahwa sejak 2007, usaha dilakukan demi meraih gelar kehormatan tersebut.
“Sejak 2007 sebetulnya Pemkab Jepara sudah pernah mengajukan. Itu terus dilanjut sampai tahun 2021 dan 2022 atas bantuan dari Yayasan Dharma Bakti Lestari kita mengkaji dan bersama dengan pemerintah daerah,” terang Edy usai menerima angerah dari Presiden Joko Widodo.
Dalam rangka mensyukuri pencapaian itu, Pj Bupati Edy Supriyanta mengimbau masyarakat untuk memeriahkan kirab yang akan digelar Senin, 13 November 2023 mendatag.
“Maka hari ini oleh Bapak Presiden, khususnya Ratu Kalinyamat diberikan anugerah pahlawan nasional. Sebagai rasa syukur kita saya imbau pada masyarakat, Hari Senin (13 November 2023-red) jam 6.30 kita akan mengadakan arak-arakan Ratu Kalinyamat dari Gedangan sampai Pendopo Kabupaten Jepara. Tentunya kita mampir dulu di Makam Sultan Hadlirin di Mantingan. Kita berdoa dulu disana, sorenya kita mengadakan pengajian. Mongggo masyarakat yang mau hadir dipersilakan,” imbau Pj Bupati.
