YUTELNEWS.com | Polres Sintang menggelar rilis akhir tahun 2023 yang dipimpin langsung oleh Kapolres Sintang AKBP Dwi Prasetyo Wibowo, S.I.K., di Aula Polres Sintang, Sabtu (30/12).
Dalam sambutannya, Kapolres Sintang memaparkan kinerja jajaran Polres Sintang sepanjangan tahun 2023 serta capaian dan keberhasilan Polres Sintang dalam kurun waktu satu tahun kebelakang. Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud transparansi Polres Sintang atas kinerjanya kepada masyarakat, sekaligus sebagai bahan evaluasi dalam bertugas pada tahun mendatang.
AKBP Dwi Prasetyo mengungkapkan “Rilis ini kita laksanakan sebagai bentuk transparansi kita kepada masyarakat, agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui bagaimana kinerja kita selama 1 tahun kebelakang.”
Kegiatan turut dihadiri Wakapolres Sintang Kompol Firah Meydar Hasan, S.H., S.I.K. dan para pejabat utama (PJU) Polres Sintang serta awak media Kabupaten Sintang.
Dalam paparannya Kapolres mengatakan secara umum terjadi tren penurunan gangguan kamtibmas pada tahun 2023 dibanding dengan tahun 2022 yakni ditahun 2022 sebanyak 198 kasus menjadi 146 kasus ditahun 2023, terjadi penurunan sekitar 26 persen terhadap gangguan kamtibmas.
Selain itu Polres Sintang juga berhasil mengamankan beberapa kegiatan aksi damai di tahun 2023 sebanyak 16 aksi damai dan ada juga even masyarakat yang berjalan aman seperti kelam tourism festival 2023.

Kapolres menambahkan “pada tahun ini kita juga melaksanakan ada tiga operasi Kepolisian diantara nya yaitu Operasi Lilin Kapuas dan Aman Cemara guna amankan Nataru 2023 serta Operasi Mantap Brata Kapuas dalam mengamankan Pemilu 2023/2024”.
