Kadiv Humas Polri : Menteri PANRB Setujui Polri Bentuk Ditsiber di 8 Polda

YUTELNEWS.com | Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi (PANRB) setujui rencana POLRI untuk membentuk Direktorat Siber di tingkat Polda, dalam rangka penguatan dan perbaikan struktur Korps Bhayangkara.

“Kami terus melakukan perbaikan dan penguatan struktur, ada pembentukan Ditsiber di delapan Polda yang kemarin baru saja disetujui Menpan RB,” ungkap Kapolri, Rabu (27/12/23).
Terkait hal tersebut Kadiv Humas Polri, Irjen Sandi Nugroho, menjelaskan bahwa izin pembentukan Ditsiber di delapan Polda tersebut terbit dari Kemenpan RB pada bulan November 2023.

“Surat persetujuan pada 20 November 2023, delapan Polda tersebut adalah, Polda DKI Jakarta, Polda Sumatera Utara, Polda Bali, Polda Jawa Barat, Polda Jawa Timur, Polda Jawa Tengah, Polda Sulawesi Tengah, dan Polda Papua,” ungkap Kadiv Humas Polri, Rabu (27/12/23).

Irjen Sandi Nugroho menambahkan bahwa melalui penataan organisasi di lingkungan Polda tersebut diharapkan dapat mengakomodir pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi dalam penanganan kejahatan pada bidang siber di Indonesia.

“Selain itu, perlu kami tegaskan bahwa dalam rangka meningkatkan profesionalisme Polri, agar dilakukan optimalisasi pemanfaatan jabatan fungsional yang sudah ada di lingkungan Polri,” ungkapnya.

Tujuan pembentukan Ditsiber di tingkat Polda ini dikarenakan kejahatan siber yang semakin meluas. Mengingat di tingkat Polda belum ada direktorat yang khusus menangani kejahatan siber yang semakin meningkat eskalasinya. Terlebih di tahun politik saat ini, tindak pidana penyebaran berita bohong (hoaks),ujaran kebencian, meningkat. Sehingga diperlukan direktorat siber khusus yang fokus menangani kejahatan siber di daerah.
